United Conversations for Teens

Keeping It Real

A series of events for teens living in the real world!
May 8, 15, 22, 29 | 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

St. John’s Center UCC, 432 Reading Rd, East Earl

A series of discussions and activities for 7th-12th grade teens that will address the tough stuff including anxiety/depression, stress, peer pressure, self-worth, bullying, eating disorders, pornography, self-harm, social media. Most importantly, learn some coping skills.
Evening will start with activities followed by a message or discussion and ending with a Q and A session. Snacks and drinks provided!!

Melissa Ticen
A counselor at Upward Call Counseling Services, Lancaster for 14 years

counseling females, teen through adult. 

She also serves as a counselor at Meadows of Hope,

a residential treatment home for teen girls.

She speaks to the problems afflicting all teens, guys and gals.

Mike Wenger

Executive Director of TNT
Youth Ministry, Ephrata.

He is a pastor and father of two

who has worked with youth and young adults for 22 years,

including mentoring and ministering in schools.

He is currently working on his degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
